THIS GARMENT WAS DESIGNED AS A CHALLENGE DUE TO THE DESIGNERS DISLIKE OF HOODIES. LIKE MANY PIECES IN THIS COLLECTION WE WANTED TO CREATE A STAPLE ITEM AND PUSH IT FURTHER INTO SOMETHING ALIEN.
FOR THIS GARMENT WE LOOKED TOWARDS NATURE TO INSPIRE US TO CREATE FORMS OF THE FUTURE. WE WANTED THIS HOODIE TO METAMORPHOSIZE, ADAPTING TO THE WEARERS NEEDS AS THEY NAVIGATE THEIR WORLD, WHETHER IT BE BLENDING IN OR STANDING OUT IN OUR SOCIETY. THIS HOODIE CAN PEEL ITSELF AWAY FROM THE SKIN LIKE A COCOON TO REVEAL THE HUMAN FORM.
ALTERNATIVELY THIS GARMENT CAN BE LEFT AS A HOODIE TO ACT AS CAMOUFLAGE IN A SEA OF CONFORMITY. THIS GARMENT OFFERS MULTIPLE METHODS OF WEAR, TO EXIST AS MULTIPLE GARMENTS SIMULTANEOUSLY WITH NO RIGHT OR WRONG WAY TO BE STYLED - NO FINALITY OF WEAR.
IN THIS COLLECTION, WE INTEGRATED ELEMENTS SUCH AS HAND-PAINTED HARDWARE AND LOGOS DESIGNED TO ADORN EACH GARMENT IN FORMS REMINISCENT OF SHELLS AND BONES FOUND AMONG THE NATURAL WORLD THAT EMPHASIZE THE PASSAGE OF TIME, AND THE PERMANENCE OF TRANSFORMATION.
